Join us for our Flight Winter Camps!
Ascension Flight offers two winter camp programs designed to support player development at different stages. The first program, the Flight Development Centers (FDC), is aimed at players ages 6U–9U and focuses on teaching core soccer skills through fun, interactive, game-based activities that encourage experimentation, confidence building, and learning how to work in small groups. The second program, our Winter Competitive Training (WCT), is designed to improve players’ technical abilities with a strong emphasis on decision-making. While both programs welcome players from any club, it primarily focuses on developing players in Ascension Parish, and although sessions are run by Ascension Flight staff, the emphasis remains on the development of the individual player rather than developing players within a team.
Flight Winter Development Center
(2020-2017)
The Ascension Flight Development Center is a Soccer training program built through fun soccer games. All core skills will be taught through fun and interactive soccer-based games where players get to learn through experimentation whilst building confidence in their individual skills and understanding of how to work in small-sized groups.
Flight Winter Competitive Training
November 17 thru December 22 (2016 - 2011 Birth Years)
The Ascension Flight Competitive Winter Training is a soccer training program, designed to improve the players technical skills with emphasis on their decision making. We welcome players from any club, but primarily focus on developing players in Ascension Parish. Although the Development Centers are run by Ascension Flight staff we remain dedicated to the individual player, instead of a team or club.
